Miisk Website Texting Language

Miisk LLC · v1.1

Send this to your web team. A companion to the Miisk Acceptable Use and Compliance Policy — illustrative only, not part of your agreement.

Four blocks to publish on your website. Carriers reject texting registrations without them. Replace anything in [BRACKETS] with your details, publish, then tell us — we can usually file your registration the same day.

Please read this first. This sheet is an illustration of language that has cleared carrier registration for other clients. It is not legal advice, and it is not a representation that it complies with any law or carrier rule as applied to your business. We do not obtain consent on your behalf and we do not review or approve what you publish. Your own counsel should review anything you put on your site, and you remain responsible for it. See Part 2.1 of the Miisk Acceptable Use and Compliance Policy.

Block 1. Beside the checkbox on your booking or lead form

This covers service messages only. It does not permit marketing — that is Block 4.

By checking this box, I agree to the [BRAND NAME] Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and I consent to receive appointment confirmations, class reminders, account notifications, and replies to my inquiries from [BRAND NAME] and its franchisee studios at the number I provided, by call and text message, including automated, prerecorded, or AI-assisted calls and texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

No franchisees? Delete "and its franchisee studios". Link the words Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to those pages.

Block 2. In your Privacy Policy, as a section titled "SMS Communications"

Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties. If you have consented to receive text messages from [BRAND NAME], you may receive messages such as appointment confirmations, class reminders, account notifications, and replies to your inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or visit [PRIVACY POLICY URL].

Also add this sentence to the section about how you share information:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Block 3. In your Terms of Use, as a section titled "Text Messages"

By providing your telephone number and checking the consent box on our booking form, you agree that [BRAND NAME] and its franchisee studios may call and text you at that number, including using an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-assisted technology, and you understand that calls may be recorded. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Messages may include appointment confirmations, class reminders, account notifications, and replies to your inquiries. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

Block 4. A second, separate, optional checkbox for marketing

You need this one if you want outbound. Service texts and marketing texts cannot share a single consent. Blocks 1 to 3 cover confirmations, reminders, and replies only. Speed-to-lead calls to new prospects, follow-up sequences, promotions, and offers are marketing, and none of them are permitted by Block 1. If you are on Full Suite and want the outbound half of the service, publish this block as a separate box.

Place it below the Block 1 checkbox, unchecked, clearly optional:

[ ] Optional: I also agree to receive marketing and promotional calls and text messages from [BRAND NAME] and its franchisee studios at the number I provided, including automated, prerecorded, or AI-assisted calls and texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

Two things this box has to do: it must start unchecked, and a person must be able to decline it and still submit the form and receive service messages. If declining it blocks the form, the consent is not freely given.

Then add to your Privacy Policy SMS section and your Terms of Use Text Messages section: If you have separately opted in to marketing messages, you may also receive promotional offers and announcements. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.

Remove these. Carriers reject registrations over existing text.

Five rules carriers enforce

If you record calls, or use AI voice beyond what is described here, have your counsel review your policies before you publish. When your blocks are live and the remove list is clear, tell us.
